Research & Development Center, Pune Since its inception DB has built products based on its own, 100% indigenous development. Today it can boast being one of the largest 'in house R&D facility' amongst companies in the power electronics field. It is well equipped with up-to-date software and hardware development tools and manned by a widely experienced pool of engineers. With such a continued focus, DB has been able to offer the widest range of contemporary products, be it Buck/boost converters, PWM Rectifiers, Active Harmonic Filters, Grid interactive Solar Photovoltaic inverters and so on. It has also helped DB to stay technologically ahead of the competition.
Manufacturing and Testing Infrastructure DB Power manufactures its entire products in a modern manufacturing set up which is equipped with ; PLANT I, Pune Products : Custom Built UPS, Large rated UPSs, Special Purpose Power Solutions DB’s modern manufacturing two plants at Pune and one at Satara, with more than 1 Lac sq.ft. area, employ highly qualified and skilled staff. These plants are well equipped with the testing facilities as laid down in the IEC standards. DB complies with the IEC 62040 Part III International Testing standard for product's functional as well as reliability tests. For environmental tests, elevated temperature tests and EMI / RFI tests, the testing facilities have Power & Spectrum analyzers, Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) and many other sophisticated test equipment. Custom Built Industrial UPS systems from DB Power are manufactured with the needs of the customer in mind. Every DB UPS system goes through a strict quality procedure during production to ensure compliance with the customer's technical specifications. PLANT II, Satara Products : Standard UPS system, Solar Inverters, Automatic Rescue Devices (ARD) Today, DB Power adds nearly 70 MVA of back up power annually from all three Manufacturing Plants. Its total infrastructure is fully geared up to undertake any new project of national importance. PLANT III, Pune Products : Standard UPSs, Special Purpose Systems Manufacturing facility incorporates most modern Stencil Printer, Pick & Place Machine & Reflow Oven which have very high quality, volume production capacity for the PCB assembly line. Automatic handling of sensitive electronic parts have increased the reliability of system. SMT Placement System High Speed Flexible SMT Placement System for SMD components placement on PCB at very high speed. It can handle components in various sizes, making more flexible in volume production. Reflow Oven helps in assembling SMD components. It has Nine heating zones and Three cooling zones. Its longer heater length helps in setting the temperature profile more precisely, which increases PCBs reliability.
