Disposal
Batteries used for the UPS / Inverter applications are mainly Lead acid (Sulphuric acid) & Nickel Cadmium based. The scrapping of these batteries could be dangerous unless proper care is taken during its disposal.
It is important that the disposal is compliant with all relevant local regulatory requirements and is managed in line with the Environment Agency approved waste disposal service, like Authorised / Certified Recyclers.
UPS & other power equipments also need to be disposed off through Authorised / Certified Recyclers in line with the relevant local regulatory requirements, pertaining to Environment Pollution Control.
